What is Dynamic Product Remarketing?

"One touch" conversions whereby the user purchases on your website at the first visit are becoming increasingly rare online. As offline, customers will often browse products on a leisurely basis without a strong intention to buy. Such non-converting browsers are expensive as getting them to your site costs money and if they don't convert, they deliver a 100% negative ROI and lower your conversion rates. Every effort must be made to convert such visitors while on the site but when this doesn't happen, a focussed effort must be made on a post-visit basis ie after the user has left the site.

Online Product Remarketing

Dynamic Product Remarketing works whereby a cookie is placed on the user's system that identifies the products that they viewed while on your site. This cookie can be set to stay on the user's system for up to 540 days. During the period that the cookie is 'live' on the user's system, highly targeted and customised ad's can be shown to them as they browse websites on Google's Display Network as well as on Facebook. The user is shown only those products that they viewed while on your site. In this way, users that were merely browsing can be remarketed to on an ongoing basis as they browse the Internet thereby turning casual browsers into real customers.


The watches shown in this advert are those watches that the user viewed while on the watch website. ie the advert is customised to the user.
